Installation Tips
1. Clean the bucket nose and the pin bore before fitting; remove dirt, rust and old locking compound.
2. Seat the tooth (or adapter) squarely on the nose — never drive it on with a sledge on the tip.
3. Always fit a NEW pin and retainer; never reuse a deformed or worn locking pin.
4. Check for rock: a correctly fitted tooth sits tight with no side movement. Replace the adapter if the nose is worn.
5. Re-torque / re-check locking pins after the first 8 working hours, then at every service interval.
6. Replace the tooth when the wear surface reaches the wear line or the tip is blunt — running past it damages the adapter.
