The C7 is fitted to a very wide machine range: 320D / 321D / 323D / 324D / 325D / 326D L / 328D LCR / 329D / 330D / 336D excavators, 924H / 928H / 930H / 938H loaders, D6N / D6T dozers, CS56 / CS64 / CS74 rollers, 12K / 12M / 140K / 140M / 160K graders.
The injector is a HEUI unit — hydraulically actuated, electronically controlled, driven by high-pressure engine oil rather than a cam. Overall length 360.7 mm, height 134.6 mm. Injection pressure 1600-2000 bar, Tier 3 / Stage IIIA compliant, each unit flow-calibrated at the factory to match the ECM.
Two things decide whether a replacement lives or dies. First, HEUI injectors fail mostly because of oil quality and the high-pressure oil circuit: if the oil pump or oil galleries are worn, a new injector will be destroyed again within hours, so the circuit must be checked before fitting. Second, the trim code has to be written into the ECM after installation.
The C7 exists in several generations (ACERT, C7.1 and others) and the part numbers are not interchangeable — confirm by engine serial number, not by machine model alone.
