Confirm this part for my machine
Machine model and part number are what let us confirm fitment in writing. Message is optional.
Overview
Fitment Note: Confirmed by the removed bushing number and measured dimensions (OD / ID / length). Engine and machine model alone are not sufficient because of rebuild history.

Aftermarket camshaft bushing (camshaft bearing bush) 5I-7527A — a direct replacement for the Caterpillar 5I-7527 bushing, which has been discontinued by the original manufacturer. It fits the Caterpillar 3066 / S6K / C6.4 diesel engine family (also used in 3064 / C4.2 references), commonly installed on CAT 320B / 320C / 320D excavators.
The camshaft bushing carries the camshaft journal in the cylinder block. When it is worn, camshaft end-float and radial play increase — typical signs are a metallic rattle from the timing side, low or unstable oil pressure, abnormal valve timing and, in severe cases, camshaft journal scoring.
Supplied as a camshaft bush (sleeve). Confirm standard or oversize, and whether a reamed/line-bored fit is required, before ordering. Before shipment we verify the removed bushing number, the engine reference and the measured bore; please send OD / ID / length if you have them, because the part is matched by size.

Frequently asked questions
Is 5I-7527A the same as 5I-7527?
5I-7527A is our replacement for the original Caterpillar 5I-7527 camshaft bushing. The original number is kept for cross-reference.
What engine does it fit?
Caterpillar 3066 / S6K / C6.4 (also 3064 / C4.2), commonly on CAT 320B / 320C / 320D excavators. Final fitment is confirmed by the removed bushing number and its dimensions.
Standard or oversize?
Please tell us which size you need. Camshaft bushings are matched by dimension, and an oversize may be required after line boring.
What should I send to confirm?
Photos of the old bushing, the engine nameplate, your machine model and, if possible, the outer / inner diameter and length.
