Aftermarket oil pan gasket (sump gasket) 5I-7666A — a direct replacement for the Caterpillar 5I-7666 gasket. It fits the Caterpillar 3066 / S6K / C6.4 diesel engine family (also 3064 / C4.2), commonly used on CAT 318C / 319C / 320B / 320C / 320D / 323D excavators. Thickness 1.4 mm.
The oil pan gasket seals the joint between the cylinder block and the oil pan. When it hardens, splits or is over-tightened, oil weeps or drips from the pan joint — oil loss and a dirt-attracting film build up on the block and belly plate. It is normally renewed whenever the oil pan is removed.
Fibre / composite gasket material, 1.4 mm thick, with pre-punched bolt holes. Confirm the removed gasket number and the pan shape before ordering; torque the pan bolts evenly and in sequence.
